Modelling accuracy for urban design flood estimation

Management of flood risk remains a major problem in many urban environments. To generate the data needed for estimation risk, catchment models have been used with reliability predicted response design dependent upon model calibration. However, level calibration required to achieve reliable unspecified. The purpose this paper is assess event modelling accuracy if from calibrated are be continuous simulation frequency analysis. For purpose, SWMM-based was investigated using 25 monitored events, while assessment based on normalised peak flow error. Alternative sets parameter values were obtain estimates each selected events. best performing these SWMM mode predict sequences extraction Annual Maxima Series an At-Site Flood Frequency Analysis. From analysis Analyses, it concluded that error less than 10% quantile obtained.
